Dr. Rodriguez completed her medical education and training at the Autonomous University of baja California. She did her Internship at the Texas Medical Center, mainly St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital. Also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Genetic and Molecular Biology at the Cardiovascular Genetic Research Center, part of The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseasesfrom the Univerity of Texas Health Science Center Houston. She has multiple publications on international circulation journals.
Dr. Rodriguez received her general surgery and laparocopic training and served her residency at the Autonomous University of Baja California, General Hospital of Tijuana and Surgical Unit of Hight Specialty (UNEME). She is a certified surgeon by the Mexican Council of General Surgery.
She did a rotation at Obesity Control Center before her surgical training. Now she joined has OCC as part of the Surgical Team and Research Department.
