I’ve struggled with my weight since I was about 5 years old. I was 16 when I had my sleeve.
My step-grandmother had the sleeve at OCC and my grandfather went with her. He and I were having a discussion about my weight and he suggested it might be an option for me. I talked with my mom and we reached out to OCC. My life forever changed with that first email to OCC.
I had VSG with Dr. Ortiz.
Every single detail of the experience at OCC was like a dream! The hotel was perfect, the clinic was spotless, and the staff was the best. Everyone smiles all the time!
My life has changed dramatically since surgery. It’s so easy to find clothes to wear now. My confidence has gone up tremendously. I don’t feel self-conscious around my smaller friends and I can go anywhere now. Fitting in roller coaster seats was always a worry but now I can do anything!
I would (and have) recommend OCC to anyone. Even my mom has her sleeve scheduled for next month now. It was the easiest process and I’m thankful every single day for everyone at OCC!
