I have always been overweight. As a teenager, I remember in high school it took me 18 minutes to run the mile in gym class.
My husband has always been a huge supporter in my weight loss. So, when I told him I was going to have the surgery, he was happy that I was making good choices for my health. For my one year post surgery, I ran a half marathon! I am so thankful for having the surgery at OCC and all the great care they have given me.
