A friend had the surgery at OCC and she raved about what this did for her life.
I’ve been big all my life, my young brother would make fun of me, my mother would tell me things like just stop eating. I was single and trying hard to get love and acceptance. Putting up with a bad situation because my self esteem was so low due to my outlook on life. I was fat and I hated myself! Then one day a friend said he wanted to do this surgery. I told him if he went I would too. After the surgery I went home to be with my family to recover. Then there was a wild fire and I lost my home and job. Couldn’t eat away my feelings so I worked out. After a month I was able to come back to the town I lived in. The house was gone but I got my job back. I lost 70 pounds and felt fantastic. I had more energy and more confidence. I met someone a month after I came back to town. We’ve been together for 7 months and he tells me he loves me and my body. This surgery was the best thing that ever happened to me.. and I am so grateful for OCC for making my life better!
