After a long and painful process, trying to work with insurance in my state. I started doing more research online. After reading extensive articles and even talking to people online, I decided that OCC was the right choice for me.
I always struggled with my weight. After I had my first child, I saw a picture of myself and I got serious about making a change. I was 26 years old and I lost weight and it was wonderful. I had my second child and for some reason nothing was working. I was just getting bigger and I was so depressed. I avoided pictures and social situations. I knew that my health was going to be the next thing to decline and I wanted to be proactive.
Physically I met the standards to qualify for weight loss surgery and I was ready to make the commitment. The problem was, I had to fight red tape and jump through insurance hoops. I had almost given up until I found OCC.
The people at OCC walked me through the steps I needed to get started. They were always available to answer questions or talk. They took great care of me.
After the surgery I started loosing weight right away. I reached my goal in less than a year. My son has just turned one and I am proud to say I had a wonderful pregnancy. My son is perfect and I am back to my pre pregnancy weight.
I am so happy that I chose to take action and change my life. OCC has giving me the tools I need to thrive
