I don’t even know where to begin… After working so hard on trying to lose weight for as long as I can remember…maybe 10 + years…(Weight Watchers, Atkin’s Diet, Code Red, fad diets) I feel like I never really accomplished anything… until October 2021… I decided that I wanted to do a major surgery. May 8th I took a fight to Tijuana, Mexico and May 9th I got the Gastric Sleeve Surgery! Dr. Ortiz at OCC, cut my stomach and left what was a shape of a banana. With the help of my support system, I was able to lose a total of 44 lbs before surgery (7 months). And since the surgery, I have been able to lose another 28.4lbs! For a total of 72.4lbs!! And there’s no stopping there… my ultimate goal is to lose another 20 lbs at the very most and gain muscle. My ultimate goal in life is to be healthy. I have started a new lifestyle and do not regret having this surgery…not even for one second. My only thought is… why didn’t I do this sooner?? Here’s to a new lease on life!! Up until about a month ago I’m really starting to like the way I look. I couldn’t tell you the last time I was under 200 lbs or in a size 16 and can nearly fit in a medium shirt!! I met some amazing women the same day I had surgery. In fact, they had the same surgery! We started to chat and now after almost 3 months post-op will have continued to chat and help by each other out when we have questions or feeling down. Thanks ladies!!
