For those questioning if the surgery works, it does! I am a few pounds short of my goal weight, but my size has changed considerably. I have a lot of patients in my dental practice ask who the new dentist is. I find it fun to hear that. Looking in the mirror every day, I know there are changes. But you really don’t realize the changes until people tell you. Keep in mind, you will need a new wardrobe of clothes. Get ready to get rid of your large clothes and start a new journey. I am still learning the foods I can eat and retraining my brain. I am very happy with my decision to have the gastric sleeve done. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.
