My sister in law had the gastric sleeve from occ, she had amazing results and loved the experience.
I woke up and realized I had gotten to almost 250lbs. The weird part was I only saw this big woman in pictures. I didn’t see her when I looked in the mirror. Yes, all of my clothes fit tighter and I kept having to buy bigger sizes but I didn’t see what other people saw. After 2020 came in and turned my life upside down I came to some serious realizations. I was in a toxic marriage, my daughter in law was a drug addict, I was fat, and angry, and needed to make changes.
After leaving a horribly abusive and toxic marriage,
leaving an amazing job, my home and my family and friends. I decided it was time to do something for myself.
I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren and I was sick all the time. I needed to reclaim my health and happiness not only for my family but for myself. I made the call and got the appointment for a new exciting chapter in my life.
I did several firsts on that trip.
1. Traveled alone
2. Went to Tijuana alone
3. Spent a week with no regrets! No stress! And loving every second of my trip!
4. Had surgery
5. Met wonderful woman a couple I still keep in touch with almost a year later.
And now I’m down almost 100lbs from my heaviest weight!
And with the help of the occ it was easier than I had imagined. I no longer have constant stomach aches, or back pain and body aches. I hardly ever have acid reflux any more. I don’t use asthma medication like before. I am no longer on anti depression medication. And I feel amazing!
I’m so excited to see what this next year brings! Bring it on 2022!
