Hello amazing team and doctors! I am 9 months post VSG with the wonderful Dr. Ortiz. I wanted to send you a current photo. Last week, my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Maui, Hawaii. I found a picture of us, exactly one year ago, when we celebrated our wedding anniversary in Costa Rica. It is amazing how much my body has transformed with this surgery and off all medications except for seasonal allergies and the pantoprazole I take for life! I am just a few pounds away from the goal weight that Lucia set for me when I went in for surgery on 06-03-2019. I, now, have a lot of energy and go to the gym 3x weekly. My husband and I would wake up early and walk 5.3 miles along the beach every morning while we were in Hawaii last week! I couldn’t do this before! I eat very small, get my protein, and water in first before anything else during the day! We share plates together, so it is also very economical for us! I just wanted to thank everyone I came in contact with at the OCC for giving me my life back! I am one of the nurses on your YouTube videos and continue to send people to you so they also can have a happy and healthy life!
