I have researched them for years.
I had my surgery (sleeve) August 29th 2018 at OCC, everything was very smooth for me. The doctors and staff were amazing. I started my journey at 346 lbs (I told OCC 335 lbs cause I was embarrassed). Today, I weigh 189 lbs! My energy level is amazing, as long as I eat and get my protein. For those of you who have a worry about Mexico, please get a hold of me.
I have been the big guy my whole life always overweight the last few years were the worst as long hours and a long commute late dinners and large amounts of food started to show worse than ever in my health blood pressure was off the charts and pre diabetic as per the doctors, i just was in a lot of pain and unless you are large (overweight ) you would not understand everything would hurt i just could not push through it any more that was the deciding factor for me i wanted to live and not hurt anymore. Today I walk 5 miles a day and eat for fuel only no longer drink soda or much alcohol as i think i was trying to hide behind it (being overweight ) thank you O.C.C life is good !
As I was very skeptical about going, I did a lot of research and kept ending up at the same place. I debated this for like 5 years before I just did it. I no longer take any meds or pain pills, and my knees and back feel so good. I do not need to ice them every night any longer. Best decision I have ever made for me, thank you to OCC as they are a rocking company.
