Testimonials: One year ago I had VSG surgery with Dr. Ortiz, it was the second best decision of my life! Having my daughter was the first of course. I took back my health after trying EVERY diet under the sun. Having weight loss surgery at OCC was one of the best medical treatment experiences I’ve ever had! I am officially down 93 lbs and I can keep up with my crazy 2 year old! Before surgery I was dealing with postpartum preeclampsia with severe blood pressure issues and I was almost full blown diabetic. I was gaining weight and couldn’t figure out why. Flash forward 12 months… I am off my 2 blood pressure pills and my A1C is in normal range. I can also run Soooo I would do it all over again in a heart beat and am looking forward to what the next year has to bring because this is a life long journey not a quick fix! I also would love to come back to the Ariel Center for plastics at some point.
