Testimonials: I can't say enough about OCC and the AMAZING Dr. ORTIZ . Having this surgery was life changing for me. Being a nurse myself I was very particular and very high expectations and I have to say OCC exceeded them by far. I have always been a bigger girl. 6 ft tall and always on the bigger side even when i was fit. In my 30s I had a medical procedure that just made me gain weight in addition to a sedentary lifestyle due to work and family. I had tried many diets and medications and working out ans nothing changed. I had a couple friends who had sleeve surgery and it was life changing for them so I decided to look into it. I did months of research and decided OCC was the place for me. Dr. Ortiz being double board certified and the facility is commissioned by the Joint Commission those were very important factors in my decision. The facility was immaculate the staff were extremely pleasant and professional and I got to have one on one time personally with Dr. Ortiz to share my medical opinion as a nurse. He was phenomenal and he and Dr. Martinez changed my life. I also made some lifelong friends theough my sleeve sisters. And they are changing lives everyday. I'm thankful and blessed for OCC family. Starting weight 309 Surgery weight 262 Current weight 195.4 Goal weight 185 Surgery date was 45th bday 8/31/22 I'm 6 ft tall and went from a 24 pant to a 12 and 3x shirt to a Large. I go to the gym every single day and have my 1st 5k obstacle event in September of this year. Thank you OCC and Dr. Ortiz for changing my life.
